Early March, we officially announced our final six. Here they again, in case you missed it:

Fluento pairs learners from around the world to role play situations such as ordering a drink or preparing for a job interview, while using AI to provide feedback and support throughout the conversation and right after it. We help them achieve fluency and confidence.
Interactive Cares
Interactive Cares is a one stop virtual EdTech Company for creating employability.
KOCO
KOCO aims to create tomorrow’s learning community today, where no child gets left behind. Their mission is to allow quality education to be accessed by everyone regardless of socio-economic status. They want to create a level playing field by equipping educators with the right teaching tools and to motivate students to learn.
More Happi
Why should only those at the top benefit from professional coaching? More Happi is the most accessible coaching service ever created. So now everyone can find their purpose and grow.
Outsider
Outsider bridges the digital skill gap by providing open-to-access work simulation programs that prepare students for their desired career path by building confidence and on-demand career skills, and providing exposure to potential employers' working culture and realistic tasks.
Unifractal
Unifractal is an information platform that uses visual search to give you the information you need, when you need it. Show a respirator to your phone and get short videos explaining how to use it, right away. Unifractal is currently in use in higher education, health care and student housing.

📆 You BETT it was fun!
This year was BETT-er than ever. And we’ve been busy.
We met some incredible innovative start-ups in the Bett futures area and scouted potential partners at the global showcase.
It was also fantastic to finally meet some of our alumni in person and catch up with friends from our investor and partner eco-system.
Tamas and Yiran were both incredibly busy too. They were both judges for the European EdTech Alliance Startup Showcase and moderated the Female Founders Networking event, Yiran also bought together SCV Alumni dream team for the “The journey to building a successful EdTech startup” panel.
It was wonderful to see so many female founders in attendance and it's clear that ed-tech is here to stay post-COVID, stronger than ever before. - Tamas
And let's not forget the fun we had on the double decker bus event! We overfilled it and devoured 50 pizzas 🍕
Our goal for the next BETT is to find a venue with 2-3 buses and order 100 pizzas – now that's what we call a party! 🥳
🌍 We’re in Malta
SuperCharger Ventures has expanded to Malta and we're loving our shiny new office!😍 Our Co-Founder, Janos Barberis, and our Managing Director of SuperCharger Ventures' Malta, Patrick Hulsen, are thrilled to be a part of our growing team!🤩
Our Malta team has been keeping busy and we're happy to announce that we recently participated as a platinum sponsor in the highly successful Career Day event at the MCAST Business School in Malta!👩🎓👨🎓
One of the highlights of the event was when Patrick had the opportunity to meet with his excellency President of Malta, Principal & CEO of MCAST Professor Joachim James Calleja and Director of MCAST Andrew Galea, and presented them with the very first copy of our new book on EdTech!📚

IBT College has partnered with Virtual Film School™ to launch Canada's first Virtual Film School, providing training for professionals in the New Media industry. Students will work alongside instructors from renowned institutions such as UCLA, USC, and RHU. More info here.
Virtual Film School™ utilises Web3 technology and Metaverse platforms to teach film, video, and new media. The school aims to give Canadians the opportunity to connect and showcase their work with creators from around the world and open the doors of the creator economy to Canadian content creators.

🤝 Axon Park and National University have partnered to create a virtual campus for National University's 40,000+ students.

🌲 Company Offsite
We organised an offsite for our SCV team in the British countryside. This was a great opportunity for the London and Malta teams to meet in person, especially since some of them are remote.
The main goal of the offsite was to reflect on Q1 and prepare for Q2 and the full year, while reviewing company and personal goals, positives and negatives, and finding ways to improve moving forward.
During the offsite, the team was able to:
Align on the direction they are going
Understand how they are feeling
Plan when to accelerate
Discover who needs help
Explain why it's worth building
Agree on what needs to be done

Why did the Ed-Tech expert go on a diet? He wanted to "streamline" his knowledge.
